I found some sketches I did the semester before last and I thought it
would be fun to post them. For one of my classes we went to a local
lakeside park and sketched various locations that we thought we might
want to paint plein air. (I wasn't happy with my resulting painting
though so I won't post that.) I think that painting plein air is
incredibly difficult now that I have tried it. Anyway, I drew these on
regular Strathmore drawing paper with a gel pen, which by the way, was
made in Korea and was one of the best pens I had. I've noticed that most
pens (even cheap ones) from Asia are really some of the best to sketch
with.
